EPOXY RESINS CASTING ACCESORIES
Working with resin requires various tools and accessories. Polypropylene cups and buckets are used as epoxy mixing vessels. The resin itself is then mixed with specially shaped stirrers or plastic stirrers in the case of small volumes. Veropal Bubble Off Debubbling Spray or casting with a 190 µm nylon filter can be used to de-bubble the casting. Ready-to-work polypropylene molds can be used in casting or molds can be made from other materials using separators – polypropylene tape, wax-based or siloxane-based chemical separator. Occupational safety is very important when working with epoxy, so protective equipment is essential. Wood and epoxy repair products are needed, especially after processing of the castings.
