Product description

• Colorless or transparent treatment wax for the occasional revival of wooden floors treated with hard wax oil as well as furniture and other oiled or waxed wooden surfaces in the interior.
• With adequate care, surfaces treated with natural, non-harmful hard waxes (carnauba and candelina wax) remain. Treated wooden surfaces remain durable without a film forming on them.
• Recommended use: ideal for removing stubborn stains such as grease or shoe polish stains and will beautifully revive surfaces treated with Osmo Hard Wax Oil.
• Composition: Product based on natural plant waxes (carnauba and candelina wax), paraffin, aliphatic hydrocarbons (> 30%). 

Safety instructions

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. If medical attention is needed, have the product packaging or label on hand. Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking Safety data sheet available on request.

Applications

Preparation

The wooden surface must be free of dust and dry. For this purpose, a duster is sufficient, microfibre cloth, mop or vacuum cleaner. Clean heavily worn and dirty surfaces (e.g. in public areas) with water and, after drying, wash once more with Osmo Wax maintenance and cleaning agent.

Processing - manual application

For stain removal and intensive care, apply Osmo Wax maintenance and cleaning agent using a microfiber cloth to the cleaned surface (approx. 2 teaspoons per m2). If necessary for stubborn stains, scrub with our cloth or Scotchpad with Osmo Wax Maintenance and Cleaner.

Processing - machine application

Apply Osmo Wax maintenance and cleaning agent with a white polishing pad  (approx. 2 teaspoons per m2). Spread the Osmo Wax Maintenance product and cleaning agent evenly and polish it into the floor. If the polish leaves traces during application, turn the polishing disc or replace it. If you require a high gloss of the substrate, additionally polish the dry substrate one more time using the white polishing disc.

Cleaning work tools

Clean work tools with thinners or acetone.

Drying time

Approximately 30 – 40 minutes (under normal climatic conditions: 23°C/50% relative humidity). At low temperatures and/or higher air humidity, the drying time is extended. Ensure adequate ventilation during drying.

Strengthening

The effectiveness of Osmo Wax maintenance and cleaning agent depends significantly on the absorbency and degree of contamination of the treated surface. 1 liter of product is sufficient for approximately 80 - 100 m2 of surface area, 2 teaspoons per 1 m2.

Instructions

With regular application of hard waxes (carnauba and candelina wax), the floor will be revitalized and more resistant to dirt and abrasion. Over the years, it is necessary to replenish the oil content of floors treated with hard wax oil. The product must be applied only in a thin layer, otherwise shoe marks will be visible on the floor.
