Starbond Gap Filler Thick EM-2000, the so-called "gap filler", is a thick cyanoacrylate (CA) instant adhesive. Thanks to their thixotropy and high viscosity (2000 mPas), they perfectly fill large cracks, gaps and knots in wood.  Penetrates the wood to a depth of approx. 0.5 mm, and glues well-fitting parts with a firm bond. The glue effectively hides imperfections and fills cavities in the wood. It can be ground and polished to a high gloss very well. 

Pro Tip: Starbond Gap Filler Thick CA is specially designed to have a longer cure time allowing more time for positioning for precise bonding. Depending on the material used the bonding time may exceed 1 to 2 minutes. In all these cases a reaction accelerator is recommended to speed up the bonding time Starbond Accelerator.</ span> Using it, the glue hardens within 20 seconds, it can be sanded after 2 minutes after application. This rapid curing seals the surface very quickly and prevents excessive absorption and wastage of glue.
