VEROPAL REBIDO 500 is a clear two-component, fast-curing and UV-resistant epoxy resin for casting of thin repeated layers around 1-5 mm or as a thin epoxy surface layer (so-called Table TOP) for tables etc. It is self-leveling and de-bubbles very well naturally, creating a beautiful flat surface with minimal shrinkage and a high gloss. It cures quickly, the cast is clear and very hard. It is not recommended to cast with it in thicknesses greater than 10 mm (jewellery). It is very fluid, with a simple mixing ratio and practically odorless. It can be easily colored, or partially filled with decorative items (stones, sequins, shards, etc.)

• Usage:

  • Production of layered cast tables, clocks, cutting boards, etc.
  • Production of layered epoxy paintings (after 1.5 hours the layer can already be painted).
  • Production of painted 3D casts (aquarium effect).
  • Top (surface treatment) thin protective layer especially for wood (bar and table tops, etc.).
  • Production of small castings and jewelry.
  • Production of advertising items.
  • Can be used for casting and gluing all types of materials (wood, concrete, glass, etc.) except plastics.

    

• Additional features:

  • Appearance after mixing components A and B – water-clear liquid.
  • Colorability – with suitable and compatible dyes and pigments (see section PIGMENTS).
  • Working temperature – ideally 19-23 °C. It is possible to work at lower temperatures, e.g. (10-15 °C), but it is necessary to take into account the slower hardening. Decreased temperature slows down the hardening process, increased temperature speeds it up.
  • Appearance after curing – clear, glassy.
