Rubio Monocoat Invisible Protector is a protective coating for wood made on the basis of high-quality vegetable emulsions. It preserves the natural appearance of the wood. The surface will receive highly durable protection and the coating will not change the original color of the wood. Rubio Invisible Protector can be used on practically any wood – it preserves the original color shade even on dark woods. The technology of this product is based on a revolutionary base of natural resins

CAUTION!!!! Rubio Invisible Protector is not recommended for use on the following primers: RMC Tannin Primer, RMC WoodPrep, RMC Smoke, RMC Fumed and RMC Precolor Easy

Technical characteristics:

• One-component milky liquid based on natural resins with solids content of 25-30 %,
• Does not contain surface-active alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO) or NMP (N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone) solvents,
• Non-flammable with very mild smell,
• Density: 1 kg/dm3.

Consumption:

• About 4.5 m2/L (in three layers) = about 75 g/m2 in one layer

DIRECTIONS FOR USE (roller application):

1. Sand the surface of the wood with the desired grit (P120) and make sure that there are no scratches anywhere. Thoroughly vacuum the dust and start surface
   treatment as soon as possible (the surface may change color due to oxidation).
2. Use Rubio Invisible Protector at room temperature – ideally 18-25 °C. Air humidity should not exceed 70 %. Shake the product canister well, there must be no sediment at the bottom.
3. Apply the first layer with a microfiber roller in an amount of approx. 80 g/m2 (approx. 12-13 m2/l). Let to dry for 3-4 hours.
4. Apply the second layer of the undiluted product with a foam roller in an amount of approx. 70 g/m2 and let it dry for 16-24 hours.
5. Sand the surface with grit P220, vacuum the dust and apply the last coat of paint according to step no. 4.
