Eye Candy pigment Baku Red is a red metallic pigment with changing shades from pink to deep red. Thanks to the small microparticles of mica with a size of 5-10 micrometers, it floats well, so it settle less at casting. They allow creating of metallic, pearlescent, iridescent and other effects. That is why thea are popular among professionals and do-it-yourselfers for epoxy casting, making soap, candles, automotive paint, slime, jewelry, fiberglass, etc. Suitable for tinting, darkening or lightening of other metallic pigments.

Dosage: The usual dosage at luminiscent pigment is 1 g/1 kg of resin. We recommend starting with 0.5 g of pigment per 1 kg of resin and adding more pigment as needed to achieve the desired result.

TIP: Blackred pigments on the market have a certain amount of pink in them and it depends on how much they contain. Try adding just a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of gray or black pigment to suppress the effect of the pink tint or darken the red!!
