VEROPAL FIXWOOD is a two-component, high-strength, fast-curing, slightly yellowish epoxy resin suitable for straightening bent or otherwise deformed wood (slats, planks, trunk slices...) and preserving substantial parts of the thickness of the wood. It hardens quickly, the cast is slightly yellowish and very hard. It is medium fluid, self-leveling, with a simple mixing ratio and practically odorless. It can be easily colored. This system is compatible with casting epoxy resins VEROPAL.

• Usage:

  • Straightening bent or deformed wood.
  • Penetrating coating for sealing surfaces, especially for wood.
  • Production of small, especially flat castings and jewelry.
  • Preparation of repair sealants for wood.
  • Can be used to bond all types of materials (wood, concrete, glass, etc.) except plastics.
  • Repair compound for wood, concrete...
  • Casting thin layers up to 3 mm.

    

• Additional features:

  • Appearance after mixing component A and B – clear yellowish liquid.
  • Colorability – suitable and compatible dyes and pigments (see section PIGMENTS).
  • Working temperature – ideally 19-23 °C. It is possible to work at lower temperatures, e.g. (10-15 °C), but it is necessary to take into account the slower hardening. Decreased temperature slows down the hardening process, increased temperature speeds it up.
  • Appearance after curing – clear yellowish, glassy.

  • 1.5 kg (component A: 1 kg + component B: 0.5 kg)
  • 7.5 kg (component A: 5 kg + component B: 2.5 kg)
  • 15 kg (component A: 10 kg + component B: 5 kg)
