Specification of Veropal Transparent 230 resin
- USE: For medium-sized castings with epoxy resin, e.g. smaller tables, but also smaller castings such as jewelry, bowls and other small objects.
- UV stable (non-yellowing) epoxy casting resin.
- Appearance after curing – transparent, water-clear, crystalline, optically clear, transparent.
- Dyeable well with dyes and pigments (VEROPAL PR, VEROPAL PP).
- Mixing ratio 100 : 40 by weight.
- Maximum casting volume: 10 liters up to a layer thickness of 4 cm.
- Viscosity after mixing – 150-300 mPa.s
- Resulting hardness: 77D.
- Workability time: <1.5 hr./0.5 kg.
- Curing time: 2 days, depending on the cast quantity and layer thickness.
- Odorless.
- For casting larger casting, the slower versions are designated: Veropal UV Plus 100, Veropal UV Plus 130 or Veropal Transparent 200.
- For casting smaller castings; you can use also Veropal Transparent 250 or quick Veropal UV Plus 120.
