✨ HOW THERMISEAL INTERIOR WORKS
THERMISEAL INTERIOR is a thin-layer thermoactive coating based on a water-dilutable filler enriched with advanced insulation technologies. After application, just a 1mm layer creates a microscopic insulating layer on the surface with unique properties.
🔬 How triple protection works
1. Aerogel insulation: Aerogel reduces the thermal conductivity of walls by up to 90% compared with standard materials. It prevents heat loss from the interior and increases perceived temperature by 2-3°C.
2. 3M microspheres: Hollow and partially vacuumed glass microspheres contain air spaces that minimise condensation on cold surfaces and reduce thermal conductivity.
3. Thermal reflection: Secondary heat reflection – the surface quickly transfers heat by radiation (at the speed of light) back into the room. It works together with the heating system and increases its efficiency.
🖌️ STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION
Substrate preparation:
1. Remove non-cohesive layers – scrape off lime or clay paints
2. Level any unevenness – THERMISEAL is applied in a 1mm layer
3. Prime absorbent substrates – with a system primer for better adhesion
4. Ensure suitable conditions – temperature and humidity according to recommendations
Mixing THERMISEAL:
5. Take the required amount – 1m² of wall = approx. 1 litre of coating
6. Mix slowly – until you reach the consistency of thick cream
7. Gradually dilute with water – add approx. 2 dcl of clean water to a 5l pack
Application:
8. Apply with a stainless-steel trowel – with 4 or 6mm teeth to control the amount
9. Smooth with the flat side – use a spatula or brush in corners
10. Leave to dry – approx. 20 hours depending on humidity and temperature
11. Sand the next day – very lightly with 240mm sanding mesh
12. Final finish – paint, wallpaper or tiles
💡 Pro tip: Remove burrs and trowel marks only the next day after polymerisation!
