✨ HOW THERMISEAL FLOOR WORKS
THERMISEAL FLOOR is a thermoactive and thermal-insulating coating compound based on a water-dilutable filler enriched with special filler and advanced technologies. After application, just a 1mm layer creates a compact and flexible layer with excellent thermal-insulating properties.
🔬 How thermal insulation works
1. Low thermal conductivity: Special filler reduces thermal conductivity to λ = 0.035 W/(mK). It helps prevent heat loss from the interior through the floor and increases thermal comfort.
2. Thermoactive properties: The compound influences the thermal comfort of the building and limits floor cooling, eliminating the feeling of “cold feet”.
3. Works with heating: Ideal for underfloor heating – increases the efficiency of the heating system and reduces heat loss.
🖌️ THREE APPLICATION METHODS
1. APPLICATION WITH A NOTCHED TROWEL:
• Use a stainless-steel trowel with 6 mm teeth
• Apply with the notched side, then smooth with the flat side
• Suitable for large flat areas
• Pay attention to corners and edges
2. SPRAY APPLICATION:
• Dilute to a “honey-like flow” consistency
• Use low-pressure or high-pressure spray equipment
• Fast application on larger areas
• Allow for 10% overspray
3. POURING:
• For uneven substrates
• Apply using a spiked roller
• The material merges into a uniform layer
• Longer drying time
💡 Pro tip: Average drying time is 20 hours depending on temperature and humidity!
