KOVAX SUPER ASSILEX sanding disc with a diameter of 152 mm with 15 holes in grit sizes K240-K1500 for efficient and fast dry sanding of wood and epoxy.
Super Assilex series discs have the following grits: K240, K320, K360, K400, K600, K800, K1000, K1200 and K1500.
The unique structure of Super Assilex abrasive grains is fixed on a patented latex carrier allowing uniform shallow sanding marks in the same direction and thus preventing problems during sanding in subsequent steps. At the same time highly sharp aluminum oxide grains are used from all sides, which leads to faster sanding (saving time by up to 50 %), high sanding control, excellent evenness and unification of the ground surface and at the same time extended service life of the abrasive.
Using integrated means against clogging, the abrasive does not clog even during fine sanding. At the same time, they allow the sanding disc to be cleaned very well with a microfiber cloth for continued sanding.
For rough sanding and surface comparison with grits K240, K320, K360, K400, K600 hard interface 9710057 must be used. On the one hand, it prevents tearing of the fine latex carrier of the abrasive, on the other hand, it helps to hold the plane and slightly increases the aggressiveness of sanding and the removal of sanded material.
For fine sanding with grits K800, K1000, K1200 and K1500 the soft intermediate layer 9710091 must be used. It also prevents tearing of the latex carrier, further eliminates errors caused by gentle inclinations of the sander during sanding and thus helps unify the direction of the sanding grooves.
