The discs of the Buflex Dry series have the following grain sizes: K2000 and K3000.
The unique structure of the Super Assilex abrasive grains is fixed on a patented latex carrier, enabling uniform mild sanding marks in same direction and thus prevents problems during sanding in the next steps. At the same time highly sharp aluminum oxide micro-grains are used from all sides, which leads to faster sanding (saves time up to 50 %), high sanding control, excellent evenness and unification of sanded surface, and at the same time extended service life of the abrasive.
Thanks to integrated media against clogging, the abrasive does not clog even during light sanding. At the same time, the abrasive allows the latex carrier to be very well cleaned with a microfiber cloth for continuation of sanding.
For the finest sanding with Buflex Dry K2000 and K3000 for sanders with a diameter of 125 mm, the soft interface 9710067 with Velcro female-female must be used for a perfect sanding result and maximum shortening of subsequent polishing. The interface prevents tearing of the latex carrier, further eliminates errors caused by gentle deviations of the sander during sanding and thus helps unify the direction of the sanding marks.
